Record flooding in Venice is wreaking havoc all over the famed Italian town.
Now it’s so bad it’s preventing cruise ships from docking in the historic city.
According to CruiseCritic, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Spirit posted two letters from the cruise line informing passengers of the ship’s changing itinerary. A call on Argostoli and an overnight in Venice were replaced with a sea day and an overnight in Ravenna.

Southwest, American, United: No Boeing 737 Max flights until March even if plane returns sooner

United Airlines on Friday removed the grounded Boeing 737 Max from its flight schedule until early March, joining Southwest and American in taking another round of proactive steps to reduce last-minute flight cancellations if the plane’s return continues to be delayed.
United is removing the plane until March 4. American last week took it out of its schedule until March 5, Southwest until March 6. All previously only had it out of the schedule through early February.
Sudan looks to pyramids to attract tourism – and hard currency

Sudan has more – though smaller – pyramids than Egypt, but attracted only about 700,000 tourists in 2018 compared to some 10 million in its northern neighbor.
Conflicts and crises under veteran ruler Omar al-Bashir, a tough visa regime and a lack of roads and decent hotels outside Khartoum have made Sudan an unlikely tourist destination.
