This week we’re talking about what to see, do, eat, drink and where to stay on your next visit to the remarkable Charleston region. Long heralded as one of the country’s “must-visit” travel destinations, this week we chat with local experts to find out what makes Charleston, South Carolina so special.
Given the new normal here in the U.S., road trips and short regional getaways are going to be the norm and I plan to devote a lot of time on the blog and podcast sharing more great ideas for brief getaways, continuing with Charleston.
There are some spots around the world and certainly around the US that I really should have visited before now but, for whatever reason, just haven’t. Until just a couple of weeks of those one of those glaring travel omissions was colorful Charleston, South Carolina. There was no reason for it either; I wanted to visit, I just never did. I’m so thankful I finally did and I know that my brief day there won’t be my last. Since I was so impressed with not just the city, but the entire region, I wanted to devote an entire podcast episode chatting with local experts about what makes this such a fun place to visit.
